Check the maker and the seller
Check who made the product and who is selling it. Compare the name, model number and photos with the manufacturer’s own listing where one is available. A familiar character on the box does not establish that an item is officially licensed.
Look closely at the photos and description
Look for close-ups and clear materials and dimensions. If those details are missing, check the manufacturer’s page or ask the seller. Poor paint or a blurry print is a reason to look more closely, not proof of a counterfeit.
Price alone does not prove authenticity
An expensive listing can still be misleading, and a low price does not prove an item is fake. Look for consistent product details and an identifiable seller. If you cannot establish what is being sold, choose another listing.
